How many years have you been attending the WhatHouse? Awards
Kelly: Too many to count! We’ve both been regular attendees for many years in various capacities. If you’re involved in new homes, it’s definitely the biggest and best awards event in the property calendar.
Please tell us the Moveplus origin story.
Kelly: Well, five years ago Neil and I re-connected at the WhatHouse? Awards and began a conversation about how exciting it would be to start something new together. With our combined skillset and knowledge, we knew we could deliver and do real justice to the Part Exchange and Assisted Move offering.
Neil: Six months later, Moveplus was born with the aim of becoming a trusted partner to housebuilders nationwide, and helping to deliver seamless, high-quality moving experiences for homeowners.
How has your business evolved?
Kelly: Moveplus is now recognised as the UK’s premier Part Exchange and Assisted Move Specialist, and employs 30 dedicated staff members from our HQ in Colchester. Our clients include many of Britain’s best-known housebuilders and we really act as an extension of their business, working very closely with Sales Directors to help ease the pressure and make sales as seamless as possible. We’re really proud that Moveplus regularly helps to create sales twice as quickly as the national average.
Will you both be attending the WhatHouse? Awards this year?
Kelly: Yes, we can’t wait. Following a successful collaboration last year, we’re delighted to once again be involved in an event that showcases innovation, quality, and outstanding achievement across the new homes sector. WhatHouse? remains a benchmark for excellence, recognising the developers, projects, and professionals shaping the future of UK housing.

What’s your advice for new attendees to the WhatHouse? Awards?
Kelly: If you’re involved in new homes in any way then you need to be there in November. Enjoy the day catching up with friends and colleagues, and forming new relationships that you’ll value for years to come.
